University Technology Showcase Webinar Series
return to Partnership Webinar Series page
The University Technology Showcase Webinar Series – developed by NCET2 and the National Academies’ University Industry Demonstration Partnership (UIDP) – is an easy and effective way for universities to present their ripe-for-partnership programs to parties looking to advance fundamental research along the discovery-to-innovation pathway. The webinars provide access to:
- An extensive network of decision-makers: the combined strategic contacts of NCET2 and the UIDP total more than 23,000 transaction-ready entrepreneurs and decision-makers in SBIR companies, large companies, VCs firms and angel groups. The goal of the online University Technology Showcase is to connect these sectors in order to create commercialization opportunities and spur new product development and job creation in the U.S.
- A new channel for outreach: the University Technology Showcase Webinar Series provides an extension to more traditional forms of research marketing and engagement, complementing an institution’s existing activities or offering a new approach to showcasing research progress, building partnerships and finding commercialization opportunities.
