Course Description:
The life blood of an Angel Group is deal flow, and not any deal flow, but venture quality deal flow. Finding and building quality deals drive returns, and thereby builds Group cohesiveness, credibility and success. As with any business, you need to market your product and service, just having money is not enough. You need a value proposition that resonates through the entrepreneurial and the greater local venture communities. This course will look at developing and implementing a marketing plan for an Angel Group from two perspectives. First, the Groups external activities to drive deal flow to the group. Second, how the group manages itself and its deal flow builds credibility as a value adding, successful Angel Group, and thereby improve returns and garners the attention on greater venture community, especially, serious entrepreneurs. If your group is known for its quality investments, active angels will seek out your organization, and recruitment, funding and syndication capacity will be significantly improved.
